Hango alisema uwepo wa viwanda vya utengenezaji wa dawa za binadamu nchini utasaidia kwa kiasi ubora na upatikanaji wa uhakika wa dawa, udhibiti wa utengenezaji, kutengeneza ajira na kupunguza matumizi ya pesa za kigeni katika manunuzi ya dawa hizo nje ya nchi.
Aliongeza kuwa katika kuchangamkiia fursa hiyo ya Serikali PST tayari imeandaa mapendekezo mbalimbali inayopanga kuyawasilisha Serikalini kwa ajili ya kujadiliana na mamlaka zinazohusika ili kuhakikisha kuwa wanatekeleza kwa vitendo agizo hilo lilitolewa na Rais Magufuli.
“Nitoe rai kwa Wizara, taasisi na mashirika yote yanayohusika katika kutimiza adhma hii yaweke mazingira wezeshi kwa kushirikiana na PST ambacho ni chombo rasmi kinachowaunganisha wanataaluma wote wa kada ya Famasi” alisema Hango.
Alisema ujenzi wa viwanda vipya vya dawa utasadia kwa kiasi kikubwa kuongeza uwezo wa utendaji kazi wa viwanda vilivyopo nchini ambavyo kwa sasa vinafanya kazi chini ya asilimia 35 kutokana na changamoto ya uagizaji wa madawa kutoka nje ya nchi yanayofanana na dawa zinazozalishwa na viwanda vilivyopo nchini.
Kwa upande wake, Mwenyekiti wa Kamati ya Katiba na Maadili ya PST, Twalib Msangi PST imepanga kuitumia fursa hiyo kikamilifu ili kuweza kupata soko la uhakika kwa kufanya tafiti na kutathimini miradi iliyopo pamoja na mifumo ya usajili wa viwanda hivyo.
Alisema PST imedhimishwa na jitihada zinazofanywa na Serikali ya Awamu ya Tano katika kutekeleza adhma ya uchimi wa viwanda na ajenda hiyo kwa sasa itaweza kutekelezwa kutokana na uwepo wa utashi wa kisiasa katika usimamizi wake.
