Idara ya Uhamiaji imesema jukumu la Udhibiti wa Uingiaji na Utokaji wa raia wa kigeni nchini, linatekelezwa kwa mujibu wa Sheria ya Uhamiaji Sura ya 54 (Rejeo la 2016) na wala haiwalengi wafanyakazi wa Kampuni ya Madini ya Acacia peke yake.
Ni hitajio la kisheria kwa kila raia wa kigeni anayeingia na kutoka nchini kukaguliwa ili kujiridhisha iwapo hakuna dosari zozote za Uhamiaji, Ulinzi na Usalama.
Sheria ya Uhamiaji inaitaka Idara ya Uhamiaji kumhoji mtu yeyote awe raia wa Tanzania au kigeni bila kujali anafanya kazi kwenye Kampuni au Shirika gani, pale inapotaka kujiridhisha juu ya uhalali wa ukaazi wake hapa nchini na ikijiridhisha kuwa mtu huyu hana dosari zozote inamwachia huru kama ilivyofanyika kwa wafanyakazi wa Kampuni ya Madini ya Acacia waliohojiwa na kuruhusiwa kuendelea na safari yao hivi karibuni.
Idara ya Uhamiaji inapenda kuuarifu Umma kuwa hakuna sababu zozote nje ya matakwa ya Sheria ya Uhamiaji zinazopelekea Idara ya Uhamiaji kuweka kizuizi cha kuja au kutoka kwa wafanyakazi wa kigeni wa Acacia.
Tunapenda kuujulisha Umma kuwa ni muhimu kwa watanzania na raia wa kigeni wanaokusudia kuingia na kutoka nchini kuhakikisha wanafuata Sheria za Uhamiaji ili kutimiza hitajio la kisheria.
